NetVIOS Application Developer
NetVIOS application developers are individuals or organizations that develop applications that run on
the NetVIOS platform for commercial or personal purposes. This site includes resources to allow developers
submit their application to the NetVIOS site. NetVIOS certified applications are those that perform a desired
function while conforming to the NetVIOS development concepts. NetVIOS developers also register and maintain
user tables they devise so that other programmers will be aware of them when developing their own applications.

NetVIOS Operating System Developer
These are developers who are involved in developing the NetVIOS software. Application to this
user group is not automatic as members would demonstrate proficiency in the skill set required
to develop, maintain or extend the OS features. These group own a share of NetVIOS under the
NetVIOS Managed/Open Source process. However, membership is open to the free developer
community. Developers have to initially register as NetVIOS Application Developers and then submit an
application to have their membership upgraded to OS Developer status. To apply for OS Developer
status, send an email to a sub-committee coordinator quoting your Developer login ID
and pertinent experience that demonstrate you will be a useful contributor to the OS. A sub-committe
co-ordinator will discuss with you prior to modifying your Developer status to that of OS Developer.
